Albert Camus. 1988. Displayed at Guild Books exhibit. Camus comparing Life to Sisyphus pushing the rock up the hill was brilliant.

Josh Gibson. 1989.  Oil pastel on paper. I always like the way this one came out. The intensity of the look at the pitcher; no hidden meaning. Displayed at The Third Coast - Chicago and Glen Ellyn Art Fest.

Metamorphosis II
Metamorphosis II

Franz Kafka. 1989. The first version of this drawing was sold at the Old Town Art Fair. I liked it so much, I did another one. A guy and his girlfriend came by when I was setting up. The guy said he liked it - and they left. Later, his girlfriend came back by herself and bought it for him.

Muffy the Dog

1988.  Colored pencil on paper. This one also relates to mental illness. This person was tortured because he thought the family dog was calling him Julius Caesar and he was responsible for the suffering of millions. I like this one because my old dog Houston has a starring role.
